Photo shown is from this morning 1 May 2017. The top heading is almost through the feature. Those with a keen eye will note precautionary fibreglass face nails.<\/p><p>If you think Sydney&#8217;s Hawkesbury Sandstone at 85 metres below ground level is predictable, then think again. Here we have a shale band coinciding spot on with final floor level at the base of the main access shaft and H-Section area at the Wilson Road tunnelling site at West Pennant Hills. This has proven challenging for the roadheader development of this area and for the preparation of the site for operation of 4 No. Sandvik 520 roadheaders at full production.
